Once in a red moon
You find that person
Who breaks all of your rules,
A stranger you recognize.
And there’s a pull there
That you can’t explain,
A forever in a blink.
And you can’t help but see it,
A future with him:
The wooden floorboards of the perfect house,
Him at the end of the aisle,
You in the white dress.
The look, the smile that shows that you’re his everything.
And you admit to yourself that he’s yours too.
