The ground beneath

Graced many feet.

Under this shade

Slept more.

They resonate,

These energies

That came before.

Darkness plagues the child’s mind.

It glimmers in the killer’s eye.

But harsh light can blind.

Fire does both give and take,

Destroy and illuminate.

Fate strings the world along.

Right is always linked to wrong.

At the beginning

We know the end

But we always read the book again.
